Already a year ago...when I discovered there was much more for me to see on the outside...
And what a relief! The last 2 months in mum’s tummy, I could hardly move and I swear my legs were curled around my neck...just like the lean acrobats you see in a Chinese circus. Now one year later, I can’t do this anymore…but who cares…I’m sure the circus can do well without me.

I thought the day would start off as usual... You know, getting washed, diaper change, brushing teeth (yep, I have six of them), deciding what to wear, and so on.
But it was totally different. I had just woken up when mum, dad and grandma came beside my bed and started singing 'happy birthday to you, la...la,la...la,la...'. What in the world is this and I looked even more surprised when the three of them yelled 'hiep, hiep, hoera...', throwing their arms and hands high up in the air.
Then, as we came down the stairs, I saw the livingroom was decorated with 'snoopy' birthday flags and strange floating rubbery coloured things. I hear the're called balloons and I have to admit, at first I'm a teeny weeny afraid...
However, I immediately forgot about them as soon as I started unrapping the lovely gifts. Especially the car that I gott from grandma and grandpa would now become one of my favorites.
After trying out my new toys and eating breakfast, we left the house and head off for the beach. We also invited some friends along; Gaby and Astrand with their two daughters Danneke and Sophie.

It was great fun! We spent a few hours at the beach and although it was mostly clouded, it was still very warm.
I loved swimming, catching bubbles and enjoyed the food that mum and dad had brought along.
What a day! I was exhausted, so when we got in the car and drove back home, I fell sound a sleep!

Our friends stayed for a while, which gave me the opportunity to show them my other cool gifts.
Will I soon be two? Because this was a great birthday!
